STEAM Grants Now Open for Gwinnett County (Nov. 13 – Dec. 11)

Group of Students with STEAM Grant CheckAre you an educator in Georgia’s Gwinnett County looking for a way to boost learning in science, technology, engineering, art or mathematics? If so, Infinite Energy wants to hear from you.

Each year, we give out STEAM grants to Gwinnett County schools wanting to develop projects in these disciplines. Education is important to us. And grants likes these are just one of the ways we’ve been able to give back to the communities we serve.

This year’s grant application period begins Monday, November 13, and ends Monday, December 11. Click here for more information or to apply.

Opportunities are open to teachers in all of Gwinnett County’s 139 public schools. And there will be a minimum of $40,000 available to one or more schools for these projects.

We created the grants by giving back $5 each year for every Gwinnett County customer we have. And in the last two years, we’ve given out more than $88,000 in STEAM grants. Most have gone toward funding school robotics programs. But some teachers have found ways to work engineering and fine art into their programs, as well.

At Infinite Energy, we believe supporting education is the best way for us to make the biggest long-term impact for a brighter tomorrow. And the last two years have been exciting for us. We’ve seen some great projects come out of Gwinnett County schools, and we can’t wait to see what teachers and students come up with next.
