At Infinite Energy, we give back to the places where we live and work. And to make the biggest impact, we focus our efforts on education. On May 6, Infinite was a Gold Sponsor at the Gwinnett County Sports Hall of Fame 2016 Induction Ceremony. We gave $2,500 to the nonprofit Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Foundation, which supports the school system’s students and personnel. The proceeds benefit scholarships and academic initiatives of GCPS.
Hall of Fame
The dinner was held at Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia. As reported in the Gwinnett Daily Post, Kirby Smart, popular University of Georgia head football coach, was the keynote speaker. Five people were entered into the Hall of Fame at the dinner, including coaches Mike Emery and Cliff Ramos, and athletes Juan Daniels, Jocelyn Penn and Brittany Rogers. Forty-one people have entered the hall since it was introduced in 2010.
Aaron Lupuloff, Senior Executive Director of the GCPS Foundation Fund told the Post, “I am truly excited. . . . Our five new inductees are players, coaches and administrators that have not only excelled on the high school level, but have won national championships in college and played professional ball as well. As importantly, they are pillars in the community and most of them continue to better the world of education for our next generation of leaders.”
