Rate Types

Fixed Rate: (example = $1.0090 per therm for 1 year) *
Allows you to "lock-in" your natural gas therm rate for the term you select! With the fixed rate, you will always know what your therm rate is, no matter what the market cost of gas is. This option is wonderful for those who enjoy budgeting their energy costs.

Variable Rate:
Allows you to always buy gas "at the market price". Because the wholesale price of gas is determined by trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), it is subject to change constantly. The Variable Rate follows the NYMEX, meaning that as the natural gas wholesale price fluctuates, so will your monthly therm rate. This program is suitable for those that are not ready to commit to the fixed rate plan! Another benefit of the Variable Rate is that you can convert to a Fixed Rate at any time you deem it worthwhile.

*Rates are applicable to the actual natural gas commodity portion of the bill only, all other charges including but not limited to, any Atlanta Gas Light ("AGL") fees, base charges, turn on fees, turn off fees, late fees, customer service fees, shut off for non-payment ("SONP") fees, and bounced check fees will be assessed.
