Infinite Energy markets wholesale and retail energy products in an ethical and profitable manner. Infinite Energy grows the company by investing in quality personnel and quality business partnerships. Infinite Energy provides unparalleled customer service.

History

Darin Cook and Rich Blaser, two former utility energy buyers, started Infinite Energy, Inc. in 1994. The company has grown and prospered in the deregulated energy environment. Currently Infinite employs more than 300 people in its Florida and Georgia offices. The primary wholesale markets for the firm include utilities, municipalities and other trading organizations. Industrial companies, institutions, governments, large and small commercial businesses purchase their natural gas from Infinite in Florida. In Georgia, Infinite serves the same type of accounts as in Florida, plus residential clients.

  Gave away a total of $100,000 at its Holiday Party to "rank and file" employees.

  Successfully selling natural gas behind most of the NY and NJ utilities.

  Surpassed 300 employees.

• August 2005

  Sold Infinite Consulting.

• October 2005

  Infinite is the first to offer five year fixed rate contracts for Florida, Georgia, and NY commercial customers.

• May 2005

  Recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as Florida's 34th largest privately-held company.

• August 2004

  Launched Intelligent Energy® in New York.

• May 2004

  Celebrated our 10 year anniversary with the dedication of two new corporate office buildings, open house and luncheon.

• February 2004

  Acquired EPrime Energy's Florida customer base.

• September 2003

  Recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as Florida's 59th largest privately-held company.

• August 2003

  Acquired TECO Gas Service's Transportation Customers throughout Florida and Georgia.

• December 2001 - June 30, 2002

  Designated as the Provider of Last Resort to some 50,000 residential customers in Georgia.

• September 2001

  Recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as Florida's 101st largest privately-held company.

• April 2001

  Formed Infinite Consulting, LLC: Provides risk management and fuel management services to national accounts, municipalities and large industrial end users.

• November 1998

  Begins Georgia Sales Operations: Infinite was one of 17 approved marketing companies. Today there are only five of the original marketers remaining.

• May 1994

  Beginning of Florida Operations: Infinite was initially formed to take advantage of the deregulation of the interstate natural gas pipeline system within Florida. Infinite became a wholesale provider shortly after formation.
